What's in the kit?
One electric inflatable massage sheet (with or without handles), one 50g resealable sachet of Platinum Edition nuru gel powder, and one 500ml stainless steel mixing bowl with bamboo lid and removable anti-slip base.
What size is the sheet?
210cm x 156cm x 16cm (83 inch x 61 inch x 6 inch). Comfortably fits two adults for a full-body nuru session.
How do I mix the powder?
Add 8.45 fl oz to 16.09 fl oz (250ml-500ml) of warm water (40°C/104°F) to a bowl. It is best to start with 250ml and then adjust consistency. Evenly sprinkle around one tsp (5g) of powder to every 16.09 fl oz (500ml) of warm water. Wait around five minutes for the mixture to completely form into massage gel. Apply to wet skin.
How many sessions will the powder last?
The 50g sachet makes up to 5 litres of gel. Most couples use around 500ml per full-body session, so that's roughly ten sessions. Use more or less powder to make the gel thicker or thinner.
Is sodium polyacrylate safe? I've heard it's not natural.
Sodium polyacrylate sounds like a chemistry lab experiment, but it's actually approved as a food additive in Japan, one of the world's most rigorous food safety markets. It's non-toxic, non-irritating, and the ingredient responsible for that signature thick, slippery nuru feel. We've explored natural alternatives extensively, but nothing delivers the authentic experience our customers expect. We'd rather give you something that works safely and effectively than something that just sounds good on a label.
Can I store leftover mixed gel?
No. Our powders contain no preservatives, so mixed gel should be used for that session only and any remainder disposed of. The advantage of the powder format is that you mix fresh every time. For sessions where you only need 500ml, scoop out about 1 teaspoon (roughly 5g) of powder and mix fresh, rather than mixing the whole sachet at once.
What kind of cord does the pump use?
USB Type-C. The cord is not included in the box, but any standard USB Type-C cable works. Charge the pump until the light turns blue before your session. A full charge lasts for multiple inflations.
What's the difference between With Handles and Without Handles?
With Handles adds reinforced side handles on all four sides for grip and stability during the most active sessions. Without Handles is a cleaner, more minimal design. Same size, same vinyl, same raised border. It comes down to whether you want something to hold onto.
The pump won't respond. There's a solid blue light and the button does nothing.
The solid blue light means the pump is working, it's just locked in child-safety mode. To reset: press and hold the button for four seconds, release, then press and hold again for one second. The pump will come out of safety mode and be ready to inflate.
How do I clean everything afterwards?
Wipe the sheet with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then let it dry fully before rolling it up. Rinse the bowl in warm soapy water and wipe the bamboo lid with a damp cloth. The gel rinses off skin with warm water.
