I love that it is water based which makes it much easier to cut for a slick smooth feel as it seems to be too concentrated in the bottle as is. The price point seems to be high but with the knowledge that cutting it can make it last longer it may end up being a good value overall.This gel is low odor and so I didn't notice any scent to it. The smooth slick feel is both moisturizing and allowed my hands to glide easily as I was pressing and kneading out the knots in my wife back and shoulders. It comes with a nice squirt cap as well for easily getting the contents out in the moment. It washes off the hands easily and I did not notice any staining after cleanup. I would recommend this.

I like that this is formulated with Natural Seaweed, Green Tea, Liquorice Extract, Vitamin B5, and Organic Aloe Vera. Because this is water based, you can adjust the thickness by adding a little more water. Has a 3 year shelf life. Easier clean up compared to oil based products, as this is stain free and messy free.

This gel is being excellent for massage, smooth and moisturizing, making massage sessions much more enjoyable and comfortable. I like that it’s water based, parabenm and glycerine free, and formulated with natural ingredients like seaweed, green tea, licorice extract, vitamin B5, and organic aloe vera, my skin feels nourished and soft after use.The texture is easy to control, doesn’t leave stains, and washes off easily with water. It’s also gentle enough for sensitive skin.The bottle is large, and the expiration date is plenty of time to finish it. For me, the price is worth it for the quality and health benefits it provides.

The gel is quite the slippery substance and definitely has a different feel from normal massage oils. It is quite easy to apply with the pump, although the pump itself is shorter than the bottle. It is good as a massage lubricant and doesn't stain cloth or towels. It has a nice neutral smell to it which allows it to be used longer without stimulating the nose. The amount you need per session is a good amount, so the bottle doesn't last long. Otherwise, this is a good gel.

This massage gel is slightly thicker than I am used to. The good part is that it will cling to your palm and so it is easier to apply without making a mess, however. I was surprised that other massage gels that I used as a comparison seemed to be more moisturizing. Although this says it is unscented, I think it has a very light, slightly soapy smell. Clean is always an attractive smell and so I think you could easily use it for a man or woman. No one in my household tried it to see if it was actually flavorless as advertised or not.The amount of massage gel was very generous and there is enough in the container for several massages.

Nuru massage is more of a sensual full body style massage with a lot of body on body contact and this gel offers a great lubrication that doesn't stain you or your towels and sheets. It is not ready out of the bottle and shouldn't be used like regular massage oil where you just squirt some on and start rubbing. Think of it as a concentrate that you dilute to a preferred consistency before the massage. So this 16.9oz bottle is much much more gel in use and goes a long way. I'd say 2:1 water:gel was a good ratio that the gel absorbed up and still provided a good hydration and lubrication.A couple things to note when using this gel is if it feels sticky instead of slick you should add more water. You should also apply it to moistened skin and not dry as it will pull moisture from the gel and make it stickier. So a misting spray bottle with some water is pretty handy. It will slowly absorb into the skin but with adding water and sweat it will lubricate for a good while before needing to reapply more.Don't try to wash it all off at once after use. Wipe off the gel with towels (paper or cloth) to get rid of excess and wash the small amount that remains on the surface of the skin. If you try to wash the gel straight up it will keep absorbing the water until it breaks down which can be a lot. Diluted gel washes away fairly easily though after mixing together with water and you want to wash your hands. So after use wipe dry then wash it off in the shower.Overall it seems like a good quality nuru massage gel and seems right in the middle of the price range I looked at on Amazon which ranged from $0.90-3.00+/oz of gel. So it's doesn't seem overpriced. So pretty happy with it.

I have never even heard of Nuru massage gel before- not sure how that is possible because this stuff is amazing. Gives a really great slip which helps a lot when giving a massage. It has no scent at all- I suppose if you wanted to you could add your own but I like that there's no scent. It also goes into the skin after a while so you are not all sticky and gross. This is so much better than baby oil or body lotion! Game changer!

I find the cap with the spout is easier to use than then pump, they provide both.The gel is virtually odorless and provides a nice slippery surface. When undiluted dries up fairly quick, leaving your skin feeling hydrated with absolutely no stickiness. For even better value, you can thin it out with a 50/50 water mixture, and it retains its slick properties for a longer time.

I don't know if I got a bad one, but the pump they sent with mine is too short. I uploaded a picture showing that there is about a 1" difference in length between the pump straw and what it would take to hit the bottom of the bottle. That isn't a huge deal, the cap that comes on it is a squeeze cap with a flip open lid, but now I'll have to hang on to that cap for when the bottle is getting low.Other than that, this is a very slippery massage gel. It has no smell to it at all and no color, so I think it probably won't stain things. I haven't had any problems with staining so far. It seems like all the ingredients are pretty harmless and maybe even good for the skin. It does take a bit of work to wash it off as it's quite slick and water soluble. Probably best to use it before taking a shower unless maybe you are just massaging a small area.It's a pretty large bottle, and a little goes a long way so I think this is a fairly decent value.

Those expecting a traditional Western massage oil should know this is made with a totally different feel and consistency in mind. Oils are hard to get off, stain fabrics, are usually scented, and need frequent reapplication to maintain their "slipperiness". This is the opposite of those things. It doesn't leave a residue, won't stain bedding or towels, is essentially scentless, and though you can dial in additional lubrications with additions, it is plenty slippery from the get go. I knew the difference going in and am happy with the product.

It is super slippery, of course. And the consistency is such that it will coat or cushion the surface you apply it to. This may reduce the sensation if you are using it for intimacy. That was a huge plus for me!
