This is a colossal amount of nuru gel. There are a few important things to go over just to set the stage, since this product seems to confuse a lot of people:This is for an 'adult couples massage'. It has a very specific application. Don't look it up on a work computer.This is not moisturising like a massage oil, in fact quite the reverse – don't leave it on your skin.Despite the natural ingredients shown and listed in some variations, this is almost entirely made from sodium polyacrylate. I had to look this up. Apparently it's 'technically not a plastic' but is in fact a superabsorbant polymer. Not being a chemist I really don't know the difference, but it's plastic-like synthetic stuff. This is not a natural gel and is not predominantly made from natural ingredients.So with that in mind, this is a decent product. It does not take a lot of powder to make a lot of gel. This will do you something like 50l. That is a huge amount and really throws the cost into perspective. Depending on how much you need, it will last you for an astonishing number of uses, making each use very cost effective.It comes in a pouch with a seal at the top, but it is very absorbent so I'm not 100% certain that it will actually last for the full pack – that's one downside of having so much, you have to get through it quickly.But overall, considering the vast amount you get, I think it's great value for money, and I'm happy to recommend it.

I gave this a try mainly to see if it was actually any good. First thing, it’s really gentle on the skin. No irritation, no weird sticky feeling, and it doesn’t smell of anything which I prefer.The mixing took a bit of trial and error. If you follow the suggested amounts it comes out quite thin. I ended up adding more powder to get it thicker, which worked much better for me.You do need to mix it properly though. If you rush it, you get little lumps that don’t break down. Warm water and a good mix sorts it.Once it’s done, it stays slippery for a decent amount of time and doesn’t dry up too quickly. It didn’t stain anything, but when it dries it can leave a bit of residue, so I just made sure to rinse everything off after.The packet itself is fine, reseals well and keeps it dry. Nothing fancy, but does the job.

Wow. This stuff is amazing! This is the closest product we have come across to natural lubrication and provides a really sensual experience - just beware that EVERYTHING it touches or gets on will be super slippery - be very careful in bathtubs or on tiled floors… This may seem like an expensive product at first sight but the volume of get that is produced by this 500g pack is incredible - a teaspoon in a litre of water produces a great consistency, it can be made thicker by using more powder if you desire but the recommended ratios are spot on. It can have a tendency to dry out damaged skin as it draws moisture out from any source, it’s best to moisturise dry skin beforehand for it to act as a barrier to the gel in our experience. Amazing product that I never know existed - definitely worth investigating.

It gets tacky as it dries out but a splash of water brings it back to life.For the price and the quantity it will made I think it’s great value. I ordered the Platinum gel. I haven’t used anything like this in the past but with a resealable bag and with half a kilo making 50 litres it seemed like good value for money.I only mixed small amounts with around 250ml of water. It took a bit of effort and some patience to get it mixed to a smooth gel without lumps. For larger quantities I would imagine it could be quite tiring. I left it to settle for five minutes before use.There was no real fragrance attached to the gel, just a subtle ‘clean’ smell once it was mixed. I’ve not had any skin reaction from using it but the first time we used it we applied the gel to dry skin and afterwards my skin felt a little dried out. The second time we applied it to moist skin and that worked much better, my skin wasn’t left feeling dry at all.The gel itself is very smooth and it lasts a long while before it starts to dry and becomes a little stickier. It’s easy to wash off the body, though if it goes onto fabric, it isn’t easy to sponge off as it absorbs the water! It doesn’t seem to stain fabrics.The bag is resealable which is essential as you’ll need to keep all moisture away from the powder if you want it to keep for any length of time.
